Montgomery Chamber of Commerce Annual Student Scholarships and Business Grants

Each year, the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce raises funds for its scholarship fund through multiple events, including the annual Awards Dinner.

In addition to student scholarships, the Board voted to expand scholarship awards to include business grants for students operating their own businesses in 2026.

Scholarship and grant awards are open to Sycamore students and high school students residing in the Montgomery community.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Any high school student attending Sycamore High School or residing in Montgomery.

2. Minimum 500-word essay demonstrating personal need and how you plan to improve your life and the lives of others in your field of study or business.

3. Applicants must provide evidence of acceptance to an accredited post-high school educational institution or present evidence of having a current business (website, social page, testimonials, etc.). Awards will be nullified if acceptance is not granted.

4. Two letters of recommendation.

5. Money must be paid directly to the educational institution for the scholarship. Business grant purchase must be approved by the MCC Board in advance.

6. Total scholarship award can’t total more than the tuition.

SUBMISSION:

1. Applications accepted February 23, 2026, through March 20, 2026.
